Google Expands Its Rooftop Solar Funding
This week, on Tuesday, Google announced that they will be putting $75 million dollars into a project to provide solar powering energy. The administration Clean Power Finance says that money allows installers and designers of solar power systems to offer their customers roof top solar power for little or no money down. And instead of Google paying a monthly bill, the people with Clean Power Finance will pass a small bill over which will then be sent over to Google itself. This allows companies [like Google] to invest in a space that makes a lot of sense," said said Rick Needham. The head of Google's green buisness also states,"It creates jobs, it puts clean energy onto rooftops, and it allows homeowners to pay lower bills." The funding will put solar panels on 2,000 to 3,000 homes. Many companies are taking though to the idea of solar paneling. Its noted that it is a safe decision to make and a good place to be putting money. "It's investment-grade risk, and better than investment-grade returns," reviewers said. "As a consequence, we're seeing a lot of interest."
